Return and Exchange Policy

At The Merry Hare, your satisfaction is our top priority! If you're not completely in love with your purchase, we’re here to help. Below you’ll find our return and exchange policy, designed to make the process as smooth as possible.


Eligible Items for Return

  • Items must be returned within 30 days of the delivery date.
  • To be eligible for a return, items must be:
    • Unworn, unused, and unwashed.
    • In their original packaging with all tags attached.
    • Non-damaged and free from signs of wear (no stains, odors, or alterations).

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Sale items or items marked as final sale.
  • Gift cards.
  • Custom or personalized items.
  • Home goods or clothing that is used, missing original packaging, or damaged after delivery.
  • Body care, Pantry and Scent Shop items are not eligible for return or exchange.

Return Process

Initiate Your Return:  Email us at sales@themerryhare.com with your order number and the items you wish to return.  Include photos if the item is damaged or defective.

Receive Return Authorization:  Once your return is approved, we’ll provide a return authorization number and shipping instructions.

Ship Your Return:  Package your items securely and include your return authorization number.  Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defect or error on our part.


Refunds

  • Refund Method: Refunds will be processed to your original payment method.
  • Processing Time: Allow 5-7 business days after we receive your return for the refund to appear on your account.
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error or defective item.

Exchanges

  • Exchanges are processed as a return + new order.
  • Place a new order for the desired item, and we’ll process your return separately.
  • If the item is defective or damaged, we’ll exchange it free of charge or refund you if the item is unavailable.

Damaged or Defective Items

  • If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at sales@themerryhare.com.
  • Include your order number and clear photos of the issue. We’ll arrange for a replacement or full refund.

Store Credit Option

  • Prefer store credit? Let us know, and we’ll issue a gift card instead of a refund, so you can shop again at your convenience.

Additional Notes

  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method for returns, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.
  • Returns that do not meet our policy requirements will not be accepted and will be returned to the customer at their expense.
